The evaluation of the candidates, who have provided all the required documents within the prescribed time limits, is carried out in two phases:
The first phase concerns the checking of the qualifications of candidates who have submitted all the necessary supporting documents on time.
The second evaluation phase includes those who have been considered successful in the first phase and includes the interview process.
The Postgraduate Student Selection Committee, based on the examination of formal and substantive qualifications and the results of the interviews, prepares a list of successful candidates and candidates in the PPS.

The results are announced to the candidates within 5 working days after the completion of the interviews. They are posted to the Departments’ tables and are posted on the Department’s website to the Secretariat as well as to the e-mail of the successful candidates. Successful candidates are requested to respond in writing or electronically within 15 days of whether or not they are admitted to the Program. In the case of a negative response from a selected candidate within the prescribed time limit, he / she shall waive his / her candidacy. If there are any waivers, the Secretariat shall inform the next one in the order of evaluation from the relevant list.

At each PPS, in addition to the number of admissions, one (1) scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY), received in the relevant postgraduate internship exam of the cognitive subject of the BSc. and one (1) foreign scholar of the Greek State. Performance scholarships are awarded on the basis of the academic performance of postgraduate students. Postgraduate students are given the possibility of total or partial exemption from tuition fees. The assessment is based on the average of the courses in the first semester. The number of scholarships depends on the revenue from the PPS and the final decision is taken by the SAD.

Postgraduate students admitted in the postgraduate course are obliged:

• To attend the scheduled lectures and seminars.
• To submit within the deadlines the required work for each course.
• To participate to the exams.
• To pay the tuition fees at the dates specified by the Program Secretariat.
• To respect the decisions of the departments’ bodies as well as academic ethics.
